My first idea was to trace a couple of graphics that I found in a book my lecturer had. After tracing a deer's head with a pencil, I went over it with a biro pen; this was to ensure all of the lines would be clear aon the scanner and it wouldn't smudge too much. I then scanned the image onto the computer using photoshop where it looked like this...

I am really pleased with this scanned image , the only problem is that the scanner has picked up some smudges of biro that were on the tracing paper.To get rid of these I am going to have to erase them using the rubber tool on photoshop.
